According to the In depth Research and Investment Strategy Report on China's Low Temperature Valves (2018) released by Limu Information Consulting, most of the domestically produced low temperature valves used in large domestic LNG projects are monopolized by a few enterprises. Domestically, during the initial project construction of some LNG terminals, the cryogenic valves used are mainly provided by foreign manufacturers, mainly including Italian TAI, British ORTON, Spanish Poyam and American FLOWSERVE. The domestic cryogenic valves are only used as spare parts, accounting for 85% - 95% of the total number of domestic valves.
The domestic LNG industry is on the track of rapid development. There are many LNG satellite stations, LNG liquefaction plants and LNG receiving stations under construction or to be completed. In addition, hundreds of LNG filling stations are also under construction throughout the country. Therefore, the corresponding demand for LNG cryogenic valves in China is increasing. So far, it can be seen that to promote the real realization of the localization of LNG cryogenic valves, both relevant enterprises and countries can save a lot of capital investment.
